  • Standard registration for individual consumers, family members, providers and advocates to attend advocacy events - including briefing, rally, exhibits, legislative sessions.

    Please provide as much contact information as possible for each group guest. If you do not have an email for each guest, you can enter a dummy email.

9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.   Registration - Kansas State Capitol Visitor’s Center Ground Floor

9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.    Exhibits - 1st Floor Rotunda

9:45 a.m.                     Welcome and Briefing - Ground Floor

10:00 a.m.                    Advocates packet assembly and assistance - Ground Floor

10:30 a.m.                    Delivering Packets to Legislator Offices

11:00 a.m.                    House of Representatives – View from 4th Floor Gallery – West Wing

11:45 a.m. - 12:50 p.m.   Lunch for Legislators and Advocates - 1st Floor - North Wing 

(Lunch is provided for all registrants - please RSVP!)

1:00 p.m.              Rally for Mental Health for All!  (Guest Speakers and Awards)  South Steps

                           Governor Kelly is our guest & the rally is outdoors – dress appropriately!      

2:30 p.m.              Senate Session – View from 4th Floor Gallery – East Wing

3:00 p.m.              Ice Cream Social – American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – 2nd floor

Find informational videos, handouts and advocate performances broadcast in the exhibit area.

ALL DAY - Advocates are encouraged to schedule meetings with their legislators in advance of the event.  Appointments with legislators should take precedence over Advocacy Day activities. The Lunch is another opportunity to meet with your legislator – invite them to meet you there!

Please schedule your appointments with legislators before you come to Topeka - assistance is available through your registration.
