  • Standard registration for individual consumers, family members, providers and advocates to attend advocacy events - including briefing, rally, exhibits, legislative sessions.

    Please provide as much contact information as possible for each group guest. If you do not have an email for each guest, you can enter a dummy email.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

KANSAS STATE CAPITOL, SW 8th and Van Buren Street, Topeka, KS  66612


8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.   Meet with your legislators! 

8:00 a.m.                     Advocates packet delivery to Legislator Offices – First Floor

8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.   Registration – First Floor, North Wing (up one floor from entry level)

9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.     Exhibits - 1st Floor and 2nd Floor Rotunda                                         Selfie Station and cookies on the 2nd Floor

11:00 a.m.                    House of Representatives – View from 4th Floor Gallery – West Wing

11:45 a.m. - 12:50 p.m.  Lunch for Legislators and Advocates - 1st Floor - North Wing

1:00 p.m.              Rally for Mental Health for All! – Capitol South Steps Outdoors

Join hundreds of advocates to celebrate mental health advocacy and honor our heroes! Exit south Capitol doors, return through the north entrance.

2:30 p.m.              Senate Session – View from 4th Floor Gallery – East Wing

3:30 p.m.              Exhibits end – Legislative appointments continue to 5:00 p.m.

ALL DAY - Advocates meet with legislators - It is also a good idea to invite your legislator to join you at the lunch on 1st Floor.  Schedule appointments before you come to Topeka.

Committees will meet throughout the day and are open to the public – see House and Senate calendars for schedules.
