Legislative Committees - choose from among multiple committee meetings to view legislative workings up close.

Please schedule your appointments with legislators before you come to Topeka - assistance is available through your registration.

*KMHC District Advocates are part of the KMHC Grassroots Advocacy Network.  Check out the web page to learn more about becoming a volunteer District Advocate.

NOTE:  Members of the public must enter the Capitol at the north entrance and pass through security screening.  Drop-off is allowed at the north entrance. Parking is difficult downtown, so allow plenty of time.

NEED TO KNOW

Join fellow consumers, family members, providers and advocates to learn about current mental health policy and budget issues and to educate our Kansas Legislators!

Please make appointments in advance with your Representative and Senator to meet with them when you come to Topeka.

Click  here for step by step guide for making appointments and meeting with legislators.

They need to hear your perspective and concerns about mental health issues in Kansas.
